Snow White and the Huntsman movie explained

The princess of Tabor, Snow White (Kristen Stewart), is the offspring of King Magnus (Noah Huntley) and Queen Eleanor (Liberty Ross). King Magnus marries Ravenna (Charlize Theron) after his wife dies, saving her from the Dark Army, an invasion force of glass soldiers. Magnus is killed by Ravenna on their wedding night after she remarks that men like him take advantage of women's beauty and discard them. Ravenna is actually a formidable sorceress and the leader of the Dark Army. While Ravenna (Vincent Regan) seizes control of the kingdom, Duke Hammond (Sam Spruell) escapes the castle with his son William, but is unable to save Snow White, who has been kidnapped by Ravenna's brother Finn (Vincent Regan). Then Snow White is imprisoned in the gloomy North Tower of the castle. As a result of Ravenna's periodic draining of youth from young women to keep up a spell that her mother once cast on her to preserve her beauty, Tabor is left in ruins under her rule. The world as we know it turns against itself, and people turn against one another. When Snow White reaches adulthood, Ravenna learns from her Magic Mirror (Christopher Obi Ogugua) that she will be destroyed by the young girl unless she eats her heart, which will make her immortal. Snow White flees into the Dark Forest, where Ravenna has no power, despite Ravenna's orders for Finn to bring her. A drunken widower named Eric the Huntsman (Chris Hemsworth), who has made it out of the Dark Forest, is brought before Ravenna, who gives him the assignment of leading Finn in the search for Snow White. She promises to bring Sarah, his deceased wife, back to life in exchange. Despite Finn's admission that Ravenna cannot raise the dead, The Huntsman finds Snow White in the Dark Forest. The Huntsman then assists Snow White in making her getaway by offering to accompany her to Duke Hammond's castle in exchange for a reward of gold. Snow White's childhood friend William (Sam Claflin), who is Hammond's son, later infiltrates Finn's band as a bowman to find her after learning that Snow White is alive and has fled into the Dark Forest. Eric and Snow White leave the Dark Forest by going over a bridge that is home to a terrifying troll. Eric is knocked out during the fight that follows. Snow White is able to calm the troll as it approaches to kill her. They stumble upon a fishing community where every woman has altered her appearance in an effort to flee Ravenna. The women reveal Snow White's real identity to Eric as he is being restored to health. He says she's better off without him and leaves her in the care of the women after they take them in. He returns when he witnesses Finn's men attacking and burning down the village. Snow White and the Huntsman are allowed to flee by the villagers' women, and they eventually come across a group of dwarfs that consists of Muir (Bob Hoskins), Beith (Ian McShane), Gort (Ray Winstone), Coll (Toby Jones), Duir Quert (Johnny Harris), Nion (Nick Frost), and Gus (Brian Gleeson). Muir learns that Snow White is the only one who can overthrow Ravenna and put an end to her rule.More and more of Snow White's significance in the overall scheme of things is revealed as they pass through a faerie sanctuary. She encounters a magnificent white stag while following some faeries through the woods, who Muir claims blesses her and who also declares that she is life itself and will bring about the kingdom's healing. The stag's side is suddenly pierced by an arrow, and the group is attacked by Finn's men. Gus is killed when he leaps in front of Snow White to divert an arrow from striking her. When the Huntsman discovers that Finn helped him murder his wife Sarah, he kills him; this has a bad impact on Ravenna. Before joining the others on their trip to Hammond's castle, William makes himself known and aids in defeating the soldiers. The group halts in a chilly forest to rest and replenish. Ravenna leads Snow White away from the others while posing as William. She is tricked by the masked Ravenna into eating a poisoned apple, but when the Huntsman and William find her, she is forced to flee as a cloud of ravens. As Ravenna emerges from the black ooze, the ravens return to Tabor through a hole in the roof, dropping dead to the ground. Without noticing that a single tear has fallen, William kisses a now-conscious Snow White. She is carried inside Hammond's castle to the great hall. The Huntsman kisses Snow White, breaking the spell after a second tear falls, and expresses his love and regret for not saving her earlier. Snow White awakens as a result of the kiss. Following a stirring speech in the keep, Snow White assumes command of the Duke's army and sends them into battle with Ravenna. Among a pile of dead women, we see Ravenna once more healthy and young. The Dwarves infiltrate Tabor through the sewers and skulk around inside the keep, bringing down guards and gaining access to the gate mechanism, allowing the Duke's army to invade the Castle as the defenders unleash a volley of flaming balls. Just as William, the huntsman, and the duke's soldiers arrive, Snow White ascends the castle tower and confronts Ravenna. The ceiling above the soldiers in the hall is shattered into sharp, black glass by Ravenna. The shards change into fighting monsters, but the soldiers use their shields to avoid being hacked to ribbons. As a result, the soldiers are kept busy, and Snow is able to defeat the queen in battle. When Snow White uses a move the huntsman taught her to stab Ravenna in the heart instead of killing Snow and consuming her heart, Ravenna is ready to kill Snow and consume her heart. The army of Hammond wins the battle. As the kingdom is rebuilt, Snow White is made queen. Snow White looks Eric in the eye as she is crowned, across the cathedral. She and the huntsman exchange numerous nods of recognition.
