Alien vs. Predator 2004 Movie explained
During the Alien vs. Predator takes place in 2004 on Earth. Satellites on Earth notice an enigmatic heat bloom beneath the ice of the island Bouvetya near Antarctica as a Predator spacecraft approaches the planet. Charles Bishop Weyland, a multibillionaire, gathers a team of scientists to investigate the heat source and claim it for his Weyland Industries, a global communications company (foreshadowing the Weyland-Yutani Corporation of the Alien film series). Paleontologists, archaeologists, linguists, drillers, mercenaries, Alexa "Lex" Woods, a "rough and tumble" female guide, Weyland himself, and Sebastian, a down-on-his-luck archaeologist, make up the team. Wayland's inform the group that the heat bloom's 3-D construction depicts a pyramid with characteristics from almost every pyramid culture.
