Snow White and the Huntsman movie explained
The princess of Tabor, Snow White (Kristen Stewart), is the offspring of King Magnus (Noah Huntley) and Queen Eleanor (Liberty Ross). King Magnus marries Ravenna (Charlize Theron) after his wife dies, saving her from the Dark Army, an invasion force of glass soldiers. Magnus is killed by Ravenna on their wedding night after she remarks that men like him take advantage of women's beauty and discard them. Ravenna is actually a formidable sorceress and the leader of the Dark Army. While Ravenna (Vincent Regan) seizes control of the kingdom, Duke Hammond (Sam Spruell) escapes the castle with his son William, but is unable to save Snow White, who has been kidnapped by Ravenna's brother Finn (Vincent Regan). Then Snow White is imprisoned in the gloomy North Tower of the castle. As a result of Ravenna's periodic draining of youth from young women to keep up a spell that her mother once cast on her to preserve her beauty, Tabor is left in ruins under her rule.
