Yeon Sang-ho, the creator of Hellbound, has rejoined Netflix for the release of the science fiction film JUNG_E, which is set in the year 2194, when humanity has moved to space as a result of rapid climate change. However, head researcher Yun Seo-hyun (Kang Soo-youn) of Kronoid has a personal connection to the project. She could have her brain cloned like her mother, but unless she chooses Type C, which is free and allows businesses to make endless copies of her, doing so is expensive. A new part of JUNG_E's brain begins to become active on their upcoming simulation test, which could be the difference between success and failure. Before they can continue their investigation, an agreement between the Adrian Republic and the Allied Force puts an end to the civil war. Seo-hyun is instructed to turn off the combat AI program and use the housekeeping or service AIs instead. As she's terminating the program, she notices that one of the test models is being used as a sex robot by Kronoid, who is eager to take advantage of the "celebrity war hero.". Seo-hyun awakens the most recent JUNG_E test model and learns the new zone of its brain is Jung-yi's memories. She feels it is her fault that her deceased mother is in this situation. She deduces that Jung-yi's brain is distracted and thinking about her daughter's surgery, which is why JUNG_E keeps failing. mother, a "legendary mercenary" and a war hero. But no matter how many simulation tests they run, JUNG_E consistently fails and is unable to complete the mission. Seo-hyun may be engaged in the project, but she feels bad that her mother's cloned brain is involved in this never-ending cycle of violence. In order to pay for lung cancer treatment, Jung-yi turned to being a mercenary, and the day of her successful surgery fell on the same day as her mother's unsuccessful mission.Seo-hyun deletes that portion of JUNG_E's brain and informs it of its predicament prior to the conclusion of the simulation in order to "save" her mother. JUNG_E fails the test once more, but this time it pretends to be dead and makes an attempt to leave the facility. Seo-hyun transforms JUNG_E's brain into a blank combat AI, erasing all of brain data and assisting JUNG_E in escaping. As a result, JUNG_E no longer resembles mother. The lab director for Kronoid fires one fatal shot at Seo-hyun as they attempt to flee, stopping JUNG_E in the process. The director and JUNG_E engage in a significant battle (along with a number of combat AIs) before JUNG_E emerges victorious. Seo-hyun tells JUNG_E not to worry about her despite the AI's desire to save her. She tells JUNG_E, who Seo-hyun thinks has forgotten her, to "live only for yourself, be free.". JUNG_E does, however, rub face against it as they say their final goodbye, indicating that it still remembers its previous existence. final words to her "mother" are, "May all the luck in the world be with you. " JUNG_E flees as we hear this. ".
