Dangal movie explained

The movie Dangal is based on the life of Mahavir Singh Phogat, a real-life patriotic fighter who nurtures his daughters into world-class competitors. The terrific Dangal Theme is embalmed as soon as Mahavir (Aamir Khan) and his colleague get into a physical altercation, revealing Mahavir's former life as a wrestler. The birth of four daughters contrasts with Mahavir's admiration for his sons to fulfill his dreams. They complain that a boy in their neighborhood was beaten up. So Mahavir hopes they will become wrestlers in the future. As a result, he trains his daughters Gita and Babita to the level of a professional male wrestler. After much adversity, Gita finally succeeds in winning the National level of wrestling. When she is ready for the internationals, she chooses to receive training from the NSA (National Sports Academy), where a coach mistrains Gita, causing her to purposefully lose every match she tries. Babita, her sister, reaches the legal age to start wrestling. Mahavir now intends to train both in accordance with his personal standards. Finally, Gita defeats an Australian wrestler by choosing to go in the direction set forth by her father rather than the coach. Excellent in every way, the film promotes women's empowerment in the country.Mahavir Singh Phogat, a former wrestling champion, was forced to give up the sport by his family because it was not providing for them financially. He has four daughters, but all he wants is for his son to represent India at the Olympics in wrestling. While Geeta and Babita are growing, Mahavir notices that they have the potential to be wrestlers and begins training them. Geeta and Babita must undergo a rigorous training regimen and initially resent their father for doing so, but they eventually come to understand that their father is acting for their own benefit and begin to take the sport seriously. Geeta wins Junior International and quickly establishes herself as a respected wrestler in the region. Geeta must travel to Patiala for additional training in order to compete in the common wealth games, where she will be coached by Pramod Kadam. Babita is also becoming well-known at the junior level. Mahavir is extremely depressed because Geeta thinks her coach trained her better than her father. The action takes place in a small Indian village called Balali in the district of Bhiwani. In the opening scene of the film, Mahavir Singh Phogat (Aamir Khan) is sitting in his office watching a wrestling match. India plays a very small part in wrestling, according to television. Vivan Bhatena, a recent hire, challenges Mahavir to a match of wrestling but fails. Mahavir is a very talented wrestler with excellent technique, and he also works part-time at an area wrestling ring called Ahkaada. Since he was unable to compete in the Olympics and win a gold medal, he has high hopes for his future son to do so. Although his wife Daya Shobha (Sakshi Tanwar) supports him morally, they continue to have girl children only back-to-back four times in a row. They are Ritu, Sangita, Babita (Young Babita Suhani Bhatnagar / Elder Babita Sanya Malhotra), Geeta (Young Geeta Zaira Wasim / Elder Geeta Fatima Sana Shaikh), and Babita. Mahavir Singh finally gives up and stores his wrestling gear and medal in a trunk. Following 13–14 years, a neighbor family with two sons who are also between the ages of 13–14 complains to Mahavir about Geeta and Babita beating up their sons. When Mahavir inquires as to how Geeta and Babita defeated the two boys, the girls gleefully performed the feat on their cousin Omkar. Mahavir tells his wife that Geeta and Babita have the wrestling gene, and that a gold medal is ultimately a gold medal, regardless of whether a boy or a girl wins it. He also announces that he has decided that neither Geeta nor Babita will use a cooking tool or perform any household duties going forward, but instead will train as wrestlers and represent their nation at an international competition. Mahavir wakes them up at five in the morning to begin their training. M. He keeps them on a regular diet, forbids them from eating spicy or other greasy food, and makes them work out. He calls a barber and has their hair cut off when Geeta and Babita complain that their hair is damaged from training in the dirt. And when he notices that they are both frail, he turns them both vegetarian. Mahavir is cruelly forcing two girl children to train as wrestlers, and this has both sisters furious with him. The alarm is changed, spicy food is consumed whenever possible, and improper wrestling techniques are employed as their first small tricks on him. In contrast, Sunita, their 14-year-old friend, tells them they are both very fortunate that Mahavir is thinking about their careers and lives and isn't getting them married at such a young age, in contrast to what her family is doing. This occurs when they are both present at the wedding of Sunita, who is their friend and a child bride. They learn from their error and begin training very hard. Mahavir takes them to another village for wrestling when Geeta the older sister is prepared. Everyone disagrees that they should allow a girl and a boy to fight, but the organizer caves because there aren't enough spectators and it will help him make more money. Nearly the entire village gathers to watch a girl fight, and everyone is certain that she will lose horribly. Geeta selects the strongest boy among the contestants to engage in combat. Contrary to what the villagers believed, she fights very effectively, and as the battle continues, the crowd begins to applaud for Geeta. She ends up winning more money from sponsors than the boy, despite the fact that she loses. Geeta can't sleep after the defeat and asks his father to schedule the next wrestling match. Everyone in the village, who had previously accused and criticized Mahavir, now cheers for Geeta and Babita and turns to look proudly at them. Soon, both sisters developed into unbeatable wrestlers who consistently prevail in matches. Geeta wins the national level wrestling competition, which necessitates that she relocate to the National Sports Academy Training Center in Patiala, Punjab State, where she will continue her training. Mahavir is angry because she moved to a new location. Geeta is not allowed to use his father's techniques because the new coach, Pramod Kadam Girish Kulkarni, has a different training philosophy. Geeta quickly makes friends with other girls and begins engaging in activities outside of her training, such as shopping, wearing makeup, having longer hair, and wearing nail polish. When she returns home after a few months, she tries to teach her sister Babita and other girls who have joined Mahavir's wrestling ring to learn her new style of wrestling. Mahavir challenges Geeta because he notices that she is adamantly promoting her novel ideas, but due to his advanced age, he loses. Babita warns Geeta that whatever happened is not good and that Geeta is losing focus because the fight is taking place very ferociously. Mahavir is also upset about the incident and believes she has lost her daughter.Geeta starts taking part in international competitions, and she continues doing so. She initially doesn't even give a damn, but over time she begins to fear for her career. Babita, who also wins a national championship, is transferred to the same training facility as Geeta. Geeta is told by Babita to make amends with her father when she is discouraged by her ongoing failure, and she does so while sobbing uncontrollably on the phone. Mahavir is merciful to her. Geeta regains her former appearance by letting her hair down once more. However, the coach advises her to lose weight and compete in the 51-kg weight division rather than in her usual 55-kg weight division. After hearing this, Mahavir relocates to Patiala, close to the NSA Training Center, so he can support her in her 55-kg competition. He tells Geeta to follow her coach's instructions during the workout, but both sisters and Mahavir start doing separate sessions using their old routine of getting up at 5 a.m. Coach takes note of this and complains to the appropriate party to have the sisters sent back. Mahavir begs the authorities to let them stay, but he is expelled from NSA and the girls are forbidden from leaving the house. As a result, Mahavir begins coaching Geeta over the phone by reviewing all of her international competitive games' video recordings and pointing out to her when she is making each mistake. When the 2010 Commonwealth Games are held in New Delhi, India, Geeta competes in her usual 55-kg division. Mahavir, who is watching, keeps telling her not to do what her NSA coach instructs her to. She wins the first round, the semi-finals, and the finals by following her father's advice, which qualifies her for the championship. The coach tries to claim full credit during a press conference, but Geeta responds by saying that her father worked extremely hard to achieve this. Due to this, the coach becomes envious and irate, and in retaliation, before the Finals match begins, locks Mahavir in a room and decides to watch how she wins without her father. Mahavir tries to escape the room, but all his efforts are in vain. Geeta keeps thinking back to her father's advice as the match begins. After a very tense match against Australian wrestler Emily Bensted in the 55 kg freestyle division, Geeta eventually claimed India's first gold medal in women's wrestling. When the medal presentation ceremony was over and the winning nation's national anthem began to play as required, Mahavir realized that his daughter had finally realized her father's dream. He rushes to the arena as soon as the room is unlocked. Geeta presents the Gold Medal to Mahavir, and for the first time ever, the girls and Omkar, their nephew, overhear their father congratulating them.Dangal
